Get to Know the Team

The Group Marketplace team supports country teams in managing driver supply, pricing, marketplace strategy, product rollouts, and special projects. We often work with large datasets, deriving insights to create actionable solutions. There is minimal bureaucracy, allowing a quick turnaround from insights to decisions and execution.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Manager, Deliveries Marketplace who will report into the Regional Head of Deliveries Marketplace. You will be based in an onsite at Grab Singapore office with minimal travel (5 - 10%). You will manage the Singapore Deliveries marketplace (GrabFood, GrabMart, and GrabExpress) and support regional special projects aimed at improving the economics and efficiency of our services.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Manage pricing strategies to drive revenue, growth, and cost optimisation for the Singapore Deliveries business.
  • Design and iterate delivery-partner incentives to optimise acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance delivery speed, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage fulfilment-related functions like batching and allocation to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with product managers to influence product design and facilitate feature rollouts, focusing on configuration settings.
  • Work with business unit leads to align business strategy with marketplace strategy.
  • Analyse metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have at least 6 years of experience creating pricing strategies in achieving goals.
  • You can design and iterate delivery-partner incentives that improve acquisition and retention. You can develop strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • You are proficient in managing batching, allocation, and other fulfilment-related functions to improve service quality.
  • You have experience working with product managers to influence product roll out new features.
  • You can analyse metrics using tools such as SQL to identify improvement areas.
  • You can collaborate with department leads to translate business strategy into marketplace strategy.
  • You can perform complex functions in Excel/ Gsheets for maintaining complex spreadsheets.
