Job purpose

  • Lead and inspire the marketing team to deliver and support AHL’s strategic plans
  • Conceptualise, design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to create awareness and buy-in for AHL and its festivals, programmes and venues
  • Analyse current market trends to identify opportunities for marketing promotions and partnerships
  • Work closely with all departments of AHL
  • Manage the budget and the team to ensure their professional development and potential for advancement

Duties and responsibilities

MARKETING

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and implementation plan align with AHL’s strategic plans, goals and objectives
  • Identify and target key market segments (including AHL stakeholders, artists and different segments of audience) and implement tailored approaches to maximise impact
  • Develop and manage Digital and Social media strategies to enlist and engage audiences
  • Oversee the creation of impactful content across various platforms, including digital and social media, email campaigns, multimedia tools, and traditional advertising (above-the-line and print)
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, and audience acquisition, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels
  • Lead in ticketing strategy and schools/corporate sales
  • Develop and manage AHL’s brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across all marketing materials while maintaining brand integrity across all platforms
  • Ensure that all AHL print and digital materials, such as letterheads, logos, and brochures, align with brand guidelines
  • Oversee the market research to gather insights, identify opportunities and make informed data-driven decisions.
  • Identify and activate relevant and effective marketing partnerships and promotions.
  • Lead and mentor the team to promote collaboration, ensure high performance, and deliver quality outputs on time and within budget
  • Support and contribute to corporate communications and public relations

PLANNING and BUDGETING

  • Develop and implement the department’s strategic short- and long-term plans, setting clear objectives for each strategic area, and outlining plans and budgets to achieve those objectives
  • Drive continual process improvements and implement best practices for the smooth operations of the department’s functions, in particular introduction of technology and AI
  • Keep informed of development in the field of marketing, and not-for-profit management and governance

OTHERS

  • Ensure good coordination and collaboration across teams
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by AHL Management
