Position Overview
The Intern will work closely with the senior leadership at ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR),
supporting the day-to-day management of all programs. The role involves coordinating with
volunteers, sometimes managing external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of
IRR events and activities. The role also includes managing social media handles of IRR and
creating engaging posts. This position will report to the Head of Operations and collaborate
with other team members and senior volunteer leaders.
Job Details
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: 217 Henderson Road Singapore 159555
Open to students and non students looking to gain work experience
Must be based in Singapore: Open to Singaporean/PR only
Duration: 4 months or more
Key Responsibilities
1.Managing ItsRaining Raincoats programmes
2.Creating Programme SOPs and Workflow charts for lead volunteers
3.Support and coordination of various ongoing programmes
4.Managing Admin duties assigned
5.Support with Website maintenance, Campaigns, social media and other marketing
activities
6.Support the team in organising and promoting events and campaigns
7.Manage website content and relevant partner relationships and communications
8.Updating Volunteers on Social Media campaigns and maintaining all relevant
documents and Playbooks
9.Coordinate and execute events with IRR student mentors and schools under
NextGen program
10.Manage campaign related communications via EDMs/Newsletters
11.Special Project management and coordination
12.Communicating and following up with donors, volunteers and beneficiaries on various
events and activities
13.Supporting inspIRRe activities and duties: CSR/Donations/Volunteer
Management/Worker Visits
Key Attributes
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage
multiple projects effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
liaise with external stakeholders, volunteers, and the board.
Tech Proficiency: Competency in using Microsoft Office, Canva, Wordpress, Google
Workspace, and other digital communication platforms will be an added advantage
Mission-Driven: A strong commitment to supporting migrant workers and improving
their quality of life.
Problem-Solver: Ability to handle complex situations and challenges with a
solutions-oriented mindset.
Collaborative: Ability to work well in a team and foster relationships between
different stakeholders.
