As a Finance and Accounting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse set of tasks aimed at ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Analyze financial performance against forecasts and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Management Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure accuracy.
- Accounting Operations: Support general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Coordinate with external auditors (if needed) during audits and ensure all audit requirements are met.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the CEO with the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises. Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analyses and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Cost Analysis and Control: Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Implement and monitor cost control measures across departments.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
