APAC Security Control Center (ASCC) Crisis Management Supervisor
Job Description: The APAC Security Control Center (ASCC) is responsible for supporting emergency and non-emergency events, researching regional and global affairs, incoming call mitigation, event dispatching and emergency notification services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In an emergency situation, the ASCC directs and coordinates regional security assistance and support by providing technical and advisory assistance for the performance of essential operational services; the issuance of warnings of risks and hazards, dissemination of employee information, as well as serving as the central communication intake point for Global Security in APAC.
Personnel who work in the ASCC must be able to exercise critical thinking and sound judgment to facilitate communications and solutions to impacted personnel and their impacted business leadership; communicate accurately and efficiently with the highest level executives; problem solve a variety of potential hazards and crisis to ensure effective warnings are communicated. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Report to ASCC Manager, overseeing a team.
- Utilize Emergency Mass Notification System
.• Liaise with regional security partners.
- Support crisis management programs.
- Administer operational programming.
- Maintain stakeholder relations.
- Develop crisis strategies and roadmaps. Collaborate with global teams.
- Monitor ASCC Specialist performance.• Ensure efficient center operations.
- Coordinate security communications.
- Disseminate intelligence reports
.• Stay updated on ASCC programs.
- Implement security policies.
- Monitor breaking news for impacts.
- Respond to security emergencies.
- Support regional guests and employees.
- Assist in travel safety programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years in crisis management or security.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience is considered
- Project Management, emergency and business continuity plan writing.
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), FEMA Professional Development Series, IS 235 – Emergency Planning.
- Additional data visualization skills and familiarity using Microsoft Teams, Power BI, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $7,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
