Key Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic direction of Facilities Management operations.
- Lead and guide the FM team to deliver operational excellence while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Establish and communicate clear performance standards to support team success.
- Develop an annual work plan with KPIs aligned to FM&E’s strategic objectives.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement continuous improvements in facilities management practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching team members to enhance their skills and maximise potential.
- Provide facilities support to various business units, including Casino, Attractions, Hotels, F&B, MICE, and Leasing.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of buildings and MEP systems to meet company requirements.
- Collaborate with HR on organizational structure, team welfare, and staffing needs.
- Partner with the IT department to maintain the Data Center, UPS systems, and facility management systems.
- Work with the Finance team on budget planning and cost control.
- Coordinate with Procurement to manage facility supplies and service contracts.
- Collaborate with Security and Surveillance teams to enhance boundary control and resort security.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through liaison with the Legal department and relevant authorities.
- Manage relationships with external consultants and contractors to optimise facility operations and plan for equipment replacement.
- Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs and best practices.
- Provide both short-term and long-term plans to ensure continuous and uninterrupted resort operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, with at least 15 years of experience in facilities management, including a minimum of 10 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in team leadership and strategy development for operational excellence.
- Strong analytical abilities and expertise in cost management.
- Capability to prioritize and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Extensive experience in managing utilities for large estates, including energy, water, waste, and district cooling plants (DCP), along with familiarity in Sustainability Reporting and De-carbonization Roadmaps.
- Proficient in Building FSM requirements, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) ISO 45001 Certification, BCA Green Mark Certification, and FM Global standards.
