MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform the full scope of operations roles for Multimodal Freight services, not restricted to quotes, rates negotiation with carriers/liners/agents, cargo reservation, shipment confirmation, collection/delivery, shipment execution, permit declarations, cargo transfers, pre-alerts, and billings.
To coordinate with co-loaders, support export/import/cross trade shipments and updating of shipping status.
To ensure all dangerous goods handling and live animals handling are according to SOP and IATA regulations.
To ensure all air/sea freight shipment (pick up & deliveries) are performed according to SOP and provide timely updates and constant support to customers.
To ensure the office and warehouse premises are secured at all times.
To attend to all phone calls and emails promptly.
To deliver proactive and efficient service level for all shipments.
To secure all company's property, information, safeguard goods and customers' data at all times.
To work closely with Sales team to identify potential business opportunities for new businesses.
To rotate standby duties for after office hours emergency calls.
To carry out any other duties as may be expected in a post of this level.
