GK Laboratory Asia Pte Ltd, a leader in the beauty, skincare, and health supplement industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our market expansion into China. The role demands strong leadership, exceptional sales expertise, and a passion for business innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exploring and managing opportunities in the China market, with a particular focus on retail sales of health supplements, beauty products, and strategic partnerships.
This position requires frequent travel to China to build relationships, identify opportunities, and enhance the company’s brand presence in one of the most dynamic markets globally
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow the retail sales of health supplements and beauty products in China.
- Identify new revenue streams, negotiate high-value deals, and consistently exceed sales targets in both beauty and health supplement categories.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Leverage existing networks and build new partnerships with Chinese companies, distributors, and retail chains.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align retail strategies with consumer preferences and market trends in China.
- Travel frequently to China to engage directly with stakeholders, participate in trade shows, and conduct market research.
- Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Provide detailed updates to senior management on business activities, sales performance, and market developments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with a proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in health supplements or beauty products.
- Strong ability to negotiate, close deals, and achieve significant revenue growth in retail sector.
- In-depth understanding of consumer behavior, business practices, and regulatory requirements in the China market.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory for effective communication and collaboration.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Frequent travel to China is required to build relationships and oversee market activities.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions and develop effective solutions.
