As part of the Markets Chief Business Office (CBO), the Sales Business Execution & Development team is responsible for supporting the Sales Franchise (Financial & Corporate) to drive revenue & returns and increase productivity.
Job Description:
The Chief of Staff and Client Strategy Head will report into the Head of Sales for JANA & AS Markets, supporting strategic efforts and day-to-day business operations, and to Global Head of Sales Business Execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage Sales leadership engagement, ensuring effective collaboration & performance
- Help align people and organization with the broader Sales strategy
- Represent JANA & AS Markets Sales priorities and agenda when liaising with Senior Management and business partners across Citi
- Support Head of JANA & AS Markets Sales in preparing for presentations and internal/external meetings, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary materials and key talking points
- Establish / drive key strategic priorities for the client franchise and execute upon initiatives focused on delivering accretive outcomes in terms of revenue, cross-sell, wallet share, returns, client experience and sales productivity
- Identify and prioritize client opportunities by aggregating and analyzing key metrics (e.g., competitive positioning & opportunity, client profitability & returns, client experience, and client feedback)
- Lead efforts around client prioritization and the value proposition/offering; ensure proper engagement from and socialization with relevant parties to ensure optimal deployment, delivery, and monetization
- Collaborate closely with other teams across the Sales Business Execution Organization (e.g., Client Insight, Client Experience, Client Management, Client Facilitation) and deliver on shared priorities
- Client Management Team would report into this position
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Track record of exceptional performance with demonstrated success in relevant role(s)
- Prior experience at a top tier bank / consulting firm, with a background in strategy, business development, client management or the front office
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills; highly organized; close attention to detail
- Adeptness at quickly synthesizing and distilling complex information into clear insights
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree a must; Master’s / MBA a plus
