Your primary responsibilities include:
Drink Preparation: Expertly preparing various types of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Tailoring coffee orders to meet specific customer requests.
Customer Service: Providing friendly, efficient, and personalized service.
Equipment Maintenance: Operating and maintaining coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
Quality Assurance: Upholding high standards of quality.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintaining cleanliness and organization. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Inventory Management: Assisting with receiving, storing, and rotating stock as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other team members, including fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management.
Upselling and Promotion: Recommending additional menu items, such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise.
Continuous Learning: Staying informed about coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and specialty coffee varieties. Participating in training sessions and workshops to improve coffee knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
GCE "O" or "N" levels with minimum 6 months of similar working experience
Able to make drinks by hand and do simple latte art
Possesses Food Safety/Hygiene certification is highly preferred
Able to start immediately or short notices
Postive personality and good customer service and communication skills
