Job Description - Pastry Chef
Prepare all pastry ingredients.
Produce and decorate pastries.
Assist with stock-taking of ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment.
Operate machines for pastry production.
Adhere to the kitchen's Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
Manage production schedules to meet daily and event needs.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering skill development.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen.
Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Job Description - Baker
Daily preparation and production of breads and pastries
Prepare and bake bread, pizza, pastries, and pasta products following recipes and schedules.
Handle heavy loading, mixing, packing of ingredients and finished product
Prepare pizza bases, toppings, and fresh pasta with consistent quality.
Decorate and prepare garnishes for baked goods
Responsible for the consistency and presentation of the products
Pack baked goods for delivery timely
Maintain inventory and storage in a well-organized manner
Monitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Ensure BOH areas are clean and tidy at all times
Ensure compliance of all food safety standards in baking process
Work closely with the Pastry Chef on new products and techniques.
