HR Director APAC Region $200k package

Charterhouse Singapore are delighted to be supporting a global MNC in their search for an HR Director to support the regional business.

This will be an individual contributor role and will require someone with strong exposure in Mergers and Acquisitions who favours constant evolution and dynamism. An HR Leader with exposure within a start-up environment would be preferred.

This role will offer a hybrid arrangement but needs someone who is able to work closely with senior stakeholders regionally and globally in a highly matrixed setting, therefore a flexible approach is needed.

From a local perspective, they will need to work closely with the team on the ground in Singapore with a focus on developing a great working culture and providing a world class HR service. A high-touch HR Business Partner who demonstrates empathy and can provide tailored solutions would be preferred.

This will be a hands-on role and this HR Director will support a headcount of less than 200 pax across the APAC region and will therefore need to manage end to end HR Operations including:

Recruitment, HR Administration, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management and Development, Retention, Engagement and Employer Branding.

Reporting to the Managing Director for the Region with a dotted line to Global, this person will need to be able to think on their feet and pivot with the needs of the business.

It may suit an HR professional from a start up environment who is used to running end to end HR Operations with a commercial focus.

Attributes:

  • At least 8-10 years of operational and strategic HR experience ideally from a mix of MNC and Start up environments
  • Mature yet flexible approach with proven agility to move with direction of the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with gravitas to engage senior leadership
