Description and Requirements
The Senior Resource Manager in LPS Singapore plays a critical role that blends strategic workforce planning with a strong focus on employee engagement and development. They are responsible for ensuring the right people with the right skills are assigned to the right projects at the right time, while also fostering a positive and motivating work environment that nurtures talent and maximizes employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities with an Emphasis on Employee Engagement:
Job summary: The incumbent is responsible to assign the right resources to the right projects at the right time to ensure successful delivery of projects.
You will
- Assigning available employees to projects in accordance with their skillsets, previous experience, and availability.
Monitoring day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing.
Capacity planning, i.e. making sure that a company’s resources have capacity to work on upcoming projects.
Monitoring and managing employees’ workload, utilization, and overtime hours.
- Managing resource conflicts.
Overcoming resource shortages by means of resource management techniques, reallocating resources, assigning more staff, etc; informing senior management of any issues related to inability to meet clients’ needs due to resourcing.
Providing project executive with support when it comes to resource management issues or improving resource management processes.
Knowing all the current and upcoming projects run in an organization and business development activities and being able to plan resourcing accordingly.
Collaborating with the BO, Finance and HR department regarding hiring or project related incentives and or company initiatives and projects.
Documenting processes (e.g. weekly utilization report or annual workforce planning, etc.

You bring
- Experience: Proven experience in resource management, preferably within a Systems Integrator or IT consulting environment, with a demonstrated focus on employee engagement and development. Strong soft skills of multi-tasking, analytics, problem solving, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and forecasting skill.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, resource allocation processes, capacity planning techniques, and human resources best practices.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficient in using resource management tools and software.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, HRCI, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Power BI will be a plus.
