Together with a core team of Finance professionals, you will:
- Prepare and review monthly tax schedules and tax returns in accordance with local and international tax laws and regulations
- Participate in the budgeting process, including settling timelines, guidelines and coordinating with business units and functions
- Analyse and review the budget results, identifying variances and provide support to business partners when required
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the budget and tax reporting data, and maintain proper documentation and records
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the budgeting and tax reporting function
- Work closely with external stakeholders such as bankers and corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and compliance filings requirements
- Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned
We are looking for dynamic individuals with:
- A Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
- Minimum 6 years' experience in corporate tax or financial budgeting, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Powerpoint, and other financial software applications
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A passion for challenges and displays resourcefulness as a self-starter
