JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate will be involved in industry projects and use 3D printing technology and other post processes to build parts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Carry out data preparation and operate equipment to perform 3D printing, post-processes, inspection and testing as part of the industry project.
-To perform characterisation of coupons and components fabricated using 3D printing.
-Good skills in recording data, preparing and presenting technical results.
-Responsible for preparing and maintaining documentation for the operation of different equipment.
-Carry out routine maintenance, diagnostics checks, engage OEM vendors for preventive maintenance.
-Practice good housekeeping, organisation, and safety in the workplace.
-Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
-To be a team player and learn new skillsets in an integrated team that develops new and advanced additive manufacturing technologies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-NITEC or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a relevant engineering discipline.
-At least 4-years work experience in manufacturing roles within the aerospace / MRO / oil and gas / manufacturing industry.
-Hands on experience with CAD/CAM software preferably NX would be preferred.
-Hands on experience in 3D printing is an added advantage.
-A team player who is motivated to solve technical challenges and deliver on time to customers.
-Willing to learn and adapt to cutting edge technology quickly.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
