Position Summary
Join our dynamic Digital Marketing team as the Regional Marketing Technology (MarTech) Manager. You will lead the MarTech function, enabling data-driven, integrated customer experiences across our marketing technology stack.Collaborating with stakeholders, you will advocate for innovations in MarTech platforms and seamlessly integrate solutions to optimize marketing efforts and enhance business outcomes. The role involves working with platforms such as CDP, CMS, marketing automation, CRM, DMPs, and more.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Strategy (35%)
- Lead strategic analysis and optimization of the marketing technology stack.
- Translate business needs into effective, data-driven marketing solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, recommending innovations to enhance marketing systems.
- Collaborate with HQ and vendors to ensure alignment and enhance regional capabilities.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging MarTech trends, including cookieless strategies.
- Manage key system integrations, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance.
- Support major marketing initiatives and troubleshoot data pipeline issues as needed.
2. Regional Governance & Data Compliance (30%)
- Manage access to and usage of our 1st-Party Marketing Database, ensuring privacy and compliance.
- Serve as the data privacy officer, overseeing legal compliance with data frameworks.
- Audit and recommend improvements to marketing systems for compliance.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure marketing systems adhere to data security policies.
- Oversee vendor compliance and manage data security protocols.
3. Project Management (20%)
- Lead key platform changes, including CRM and cookieless initiatives.
- Manage project delivery from planning to roll-out, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
- Report on project status and manage timelines, risks, and resources effectively.
4. Reporting & Budget Management (15%)
- Prepare strategic reporting for leadership and manage team activity reports.
- Control the technical team budget, ensuring compliance with financial processes.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships while managing costs and ensuring budget adherence.
- Provide regular budget updates to senior management and explain financial decisions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in CRM, data-driven marketing, and marketing technology.
- Strong knowledge of marketing platforms, IT systems, and enterprise-level integration.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, SQL, and database management.
- Experience with CDPs, CRM systems, and paid media platforms.
- Expertise in API integration and ETL (cloud and on-premise).
- Proven critical thinking, data analysis, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven and responsible, with strong project management experience (certifications a plus).
- Prior regional experience managing a central center of excellence is a plus.
- Ability to travel regionally (~25%) and at short notice.
- Familiarity with email delivery issues and certifications in Adobe Marketing Cloud/SAP are a plus.
Tool experience: SAP Hybris, Adobe product suites (Audience Manager, Campaign, Target), Google Cloud & AWS Cloud Storage
