  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Manager FP&A, you will analyze the company’s performance and get involved in budget and forecasting. You will work closely with various stakeholders in the other departments as well as finance teams to understand overall business performance and provide guidance to user departments on impact to management reporting from various operations and business activities.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Management Reporting - Forecast / Budget

  • Assist BUs in drawing a comprehensive budget by ensuring assumptions are valid and that minimal costs are omitted to avoid surprises in coming financial year / periods.

  • Consolidate all submissions and prepare for management's review

Tax Provision

  • Prepare corporate tax provisions for timely monthly accounts closure

  • Work closely with SIA Taxation and auditors during review of tax provisions

  • Reconcile deferred tax movements to P&L and Reserves account for the period

  • Review of tax provision process and propose areas for improvement

  • Ability to understand and conceptualise nuances like temporary difference, balancing charge / allowances, etc. is critical.

Aircraft and Insurance

  • Managing aircraft leases (including rent, maintenance reserves invoice verifications), supporting Legal / Engineering in related matters

  • Supporting insurance declaration exercise and claims submissions

  • Projects

  • Supporting the ongoing enhancements/model builds for financial planning system

  • Other reporting/ analysis as required (e.g. industry benchmarking review, statistics compilation)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent. Prior experience in audit a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Prior experiences with Netsuite, Workday Adaptive Planning a plus
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure.
  • Well organized and meticulous
  • Proactive and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player
