Production Operations Technician (F&B)

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize the production of high-quality products by effectively utilizing assigned resources and assets. To achieve this goal, the role involves:

Technical expertise in optimizing/maximizing production, yield, and product quality
Implementing and maintaining quality systems, improvement projects, and other initiatives
Tasks in line operations (covering at least 3 different workstations)

Operation and Performance

Meet line and batch efficiency and output goals as set by management
Increase output by minimizing downtime through effective monitoring and control of changeover/maintenance/breakdown times
Ensure product quality by managing all critical control points (CCPs) and producing quantities as per process orders
Accurately handle product labelling, coding, and other information
Adhere to proper cleaning, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in line with Quality System requirements
Ensure smooth handover before going on leave or changing shifts
Strictly follow safety and environmental protocols in the workplace

Improvement Projects

Contribute to various initiatives with ideas, hands-on experience, solutions, and other inputs
Assist in conducting trials, data collection, and troubleshooting machines as needed
Participate in root-cause analysis and development of corrective actions as required

Job Requirements

Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing company in a similar role. Experience in other manufacturing and electronics industries is also welcome
Strong technical knowledge and skills in line operations and machine maintenance/repair
NITEC/Diploma in Engineering or other relevant fields
Willingness and ability to work weekly alternating shifts (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM )
Willingness and ability to support in working overtime when necessary (OT is payable)
