We are looking for Technician (or Senior Technician) to join us!
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct routine inspection to ensure buildings are in good condition and adhere to safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
- Conduct site inspection, troubleshoot, and perform corrective maintenance work and minor repairs on M&E services & installation for the building, which includes but not limited to general handyman work in fitting, installation, electrical wiring, plumbing, painter, carpentry and etc.
- Liaise and supervise the appointed contractors for any maintenance, repairs and renovation works, and to ensure works are completed on time and properly.
- Obtain readings from tenants’ private meters for electricity, water and chill water usages.
- Attend to tenants’ feedback, investigate and execute maintenance and service works required.
- Assist in the co-ordination of tenancy fitting-out work, any other projects, events, and setups.
- Ensure proper reporting and documentation of all maintenance, repair, and service activities, including data logging for critical M&E systems.
- Maintain a proper inventory record and ensure the inventory records are up to date.
- A member of the CERT team assisting the management team in emergency control where situation arise, including fire safety exercises.
- To record and monitor all electricity and water consumption under the building utilities account, and to investigate any unusual spikes in consumption.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department, Cluster Manager / Property Manager / Property Officer related to the building maintenance / repair work. Required to travel, assist and support ad-hoc maintenance/repair for all properties under the Vita portfolio.
Essential requirements for this role :
- NTC3 or NITEC Equivalent in Building Services, Facility Technology (M&E Services), Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years experiences in maintaining commercial/ industrial assets in the scope of building services, mechanical and basic electrical engineering.
- Familiar with local code of practise for various M&E trade and local authorities’ regulation.
