Job Responsibilities:
Support debt collection efforts and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
Prepare regular and monthly credit-related reports for the Finance Manager or Head of Department (HOD).
Monitor and track monthly debt collection performance against targets.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to unpaid invoices, ensuring swift resolution.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager/HOD to review aged balances and implement follow-up actions.
Apply and enhance best practices in collection strategies to improve overall effectiveness.
Recommend and implement improvements to credit risk measures, controls, and processes.
Evaluate new credit requests and conduct thorough client credit checks.
Propose and establish appropriate credit terms for new clients.
Negotiate payment plans and facilitate collections to maintain account health.
Respond promptly to client inquiries related to credit and collections.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective credit management.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Min. Diploma in Finance or related field
Min 2 - 3 years of relevant experience would be advantageous
Proficient in engaging with clients to facilitate effective debt recovery and resolution
