Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a global Senior Director of Analytics & Insights to lay the foundation for data driven decision making. Reporting directly to the Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO), you will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future based on a data-centric approach. You will build and lead multiple teams enhancing our differentiating capabilities within analytics. This position will play a key role in turning our aspirations of a digital transformation into reality and lifting Barry Callebaut to the next Level.
- Oversee the Analytics & Insight unit at Barry Callebaut, directly reporting to the Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO)
- Lead and inspire approx. 3 teams across analytics including Reporting & Domain Modeling, Advanced Analytics & ML, and Self-service Analytics contributing to a culture of data-driven operational excellence within Barry Callebaut
- Oversee the development, enhancement and management of analytics capabilities, ensuring they meet business objectives and enhance user, customer and partner experience
- Align governance and processes of analytics at Barry Callebaut on a global level
- Prioritize analytics initiatives based on business value and steer the implementation of new technologies
- Supporting the business in implementation projects and process transformations related to analytics
- Collaborate with our business and other data teams to jointly transform the data & analytics landscape of Barry Callebaut and ensure alignment with Barry Callebaut’s overall digital transformation
- Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, business administration or a comparable field
- Proficient in English
- Significant experience in building and leading in analytics teams in the food & beverages / manufacturing industry (additional relevant industry experience is a plus)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience of which 10+ years in managing multi-cultural, dispersed teams in senior roles
- Experienced in transforming a data organization towards best-in-class analytics capabilities
- Deep understanding of roles, processes and technologies around analytics including related trends
- The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda
- Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams & driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale
