Core Responsibilities



  • Financial Controlling and Reporting activities for Monthly and Yearly closings, Trade Investments and Marketing Spends
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and other collaborators across functions
  • Prepare and provide data, analysis, insights and advice vital to support Finance Business Partners in planning and decision-making process
  • Preparing reports, presentations and analysis for relevant senior collaborators
  • Engage and partner with the Service Delivery and Centres of Excellence teams of Business Service Operations team

You will be a part of Business Service Operations (BSO), which is a shared service center that delivers Employee and Finance services to The LEGO Group from 5 locations – Monterrey, Prague, Singapore, China and Vietnam. The purpose of the BSO is to build an effective and efficient platform to support the growth strategy of The LEGO Group and our ambitions to reach twice as many children over the next 5-7 years. Joining this team will put you in a professional environment with a culture that is passionate about quality, learning and collaboration.

You will play a key role in the evolution of the BSO organization and will be pivotal in the BSO Roadmap initiative, where we strive to develop controlling, planning and business partnering capabilities within the BSO to further elevate the finance services we provide to the LEGO Group.

Do You Have What It Takes



  • BA degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or related
  • 5 years of financial controlling and/or finance business partnering experience
  • Challenge status quo You constructively question how things are done regarding current processes, team meetings, team and work environments, etc. You are not satisfied with “business as usual” but seek to improve processes and ways of working
  • Finance data analysis You understand accounting and financial concepts and you are robust in financial analysis, using data from multiple sources to support decision making
  • Presentation skills Prepare and present complex information to own team and internal/external collaborators
  • Problem/issue identification & management You are able to identify problems/issues and generate recommended solutions and put preventative measures in place for future. You can also resolve day-to-day problems/issues independently
  • Customer service culture You are customer-focused, and you bring the collaborators’ viewpoints into service delivery, problem solving and process improvements
  • Strong Excel skills, SAP, PowerBI preferred
  • Tight-knit collaboration skills, comfortable with navigating change and ambiguity
  • Ability to lead up, laterally and downwards
