The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will support the work of the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant as well as other signature research programmes in the centre. You will assist the Principal Investigators in developing grant proposals and study plans. You will conduct literature reviews and systematic reviews as well as assist with study design and planning. You are required to perform data analysis and ensure the accuracy in the data interpreted.

You will be involved in the preparation of abstracts/posters/manuscripts/reports. You will oversee the process and quality of the study execution and keep track of timelines and budget. You will also lead a team of junior research staff and provide technical supervision.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related academic area with at least 3 years’ experience in population health research
  • Experience in health economics or implementation science will be an advantage
  • Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills
  • Proficient with advanced data analytics software (eg. SPSS, STATA, SAS) or qualitative analysis software (eg. Nvivo)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
