Job Description
- Develop strategy for our logistic and warehousing network, taking account short term and long term needs with an emphasis on balancing costs and experience
- Execute expansion plans including business case evaluation, new facilities sourcing and negotiation, manpower planning, hiring talents etc
- Analyse current fulfillment and transportation operations and processes across markets to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, including process optimisation, warehouse layout optimisation, inventory allocation and management, demand and supply forecasting and transportation routing etc
- Manage continuous improvement projects aimed at streamlining operations, reducing costs, and enhancing overall efficiency while maintaining good user experience
- Utilise data analytics and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and conduct deep-dives
- Partner closely with local teams and be hands-on in implementing pragmatic improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tech teams to build capabilities, including developing features and algorithms to optimise operations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in management consulting, supply chain, internet, fast-moving consumer industries or any relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making
- Experience leading and executing projects focused on process optimisation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction etc.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptable and flexible to thrive in a entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams to overcome implementation challenges
- Willingness to travel to Southeast Asian markets to implement initiatives with local teams
