Site Supervisor plus Project Management

Overview:

The Site Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations at a construction site. They are responsible for coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision: Oversee all aspects of site operations, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure work is carried out efficiently and according to schedule.

Resource Management: Manage site resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets project specifications and complies with industry standards.

Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and report on milestones, ensuring that timelines are met and any delays are addressed promptly.

Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during construction, collaborating with stakeholders to find effective solutions and keep the project on track.

Communication: Maintain open communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on site progress, issues, and resolutions.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, inspections, and any changes to plans or specifications.

Qualifications:

English & Mandarin

High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certification in construction management or a related field is a plus.

Proven experience in construction or a related industry, with a solid understanding of construction processes and practices.

Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office for documentation and reporting.
