ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Area Service Technician is a full-time role based in Singapore, and will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, field service, and providing excellent customer service on a daily basis.
Organize work assignments independently, with a strong sense of results and customer satisfaction.
Perform repairs and adjustments to various equipment components and operating systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
Prepare reports and follow up on trouble tickets.
Inspect, repair and/or overhaul components, such as electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
Other duties as assigned by the Customer Support Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 2 years experience performing repair and maintenance of vehicles or ground support equipment, and related components.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in tight areas and positions).
Must be able to lift weights approximately 22kg (~50 lbs)
Good mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Good electrical and automotive communication knowledge.
Experience with diesel powered vehicles preferred.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair failed components.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble components.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory, other languages desirable).
Possess valid passport with no travel restrictions.
Possess valid driving license.
No criminal case or record, to allow airport access.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum 3 years of service repair experience, in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical skills with some PLC experience and HVAC - desirable
