Job description: Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business units to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements relating to Responsible Gambling (RG), including reporting, internal controls matters, enhance processes and bridge compliance gaps with controls and preventive measures;
  • Perform quarterly RG reviews (on-going monitoring) of patron activities for suspected problem gambling behavior;
  • Review Problem Gambling related incidents/ reports submitted by Business Units;
  • Assist with implementations and annual reviews of the RG Framework and Programme;
  • Prepare regular and adhoc reporting submissions to the regulators, Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) and other government authorities;
  • Respond to queries from the GRA, and other government authorities;
  • Support business units by providing advice for requests and queries from GRA and other government authorities;
  • Implement RG training programme and monitor RG training status of respective business units;
  • Administer and update Responsible Gambling information;
  • Analyze and collate Responsible Gambling/ Problem Gambling statistics;
  • Assist supervisor to implement delivery of compliance initiatives;
  • Update the department’s SOP/ Work-guides/ templates/ checklists etc.; and
  • Other Compliance related work scope as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Professional Diploma/Degree in fields that would suitably equip the candidate with relevant skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience; preferably in the area of compliance in a regulated industry (e.g. casino, banks etc.)
  • Meticulous and detailed
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop effective processes and controls
  • Experience in usage of data analytic tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Excel or similar software) to build models, analyse data and flag deficiencies is preferred;
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Able to collaborate with various teams
