We are looking for a Regional Project Controls Director to join the team.

Responsibilities

The Director Project Controls – APAC will concentrate on strategic and innovative projects, ensuring consistency across project controls across the region for estimating, planning, cost management, and risk management. This is a large-scale, fast paced program and the scope includes full engineering, procurement, construction, fit out, and commissioning.

They will work closely with all stakeholders to support the business review cadence and report project performance against the approved plan and guide functional initiatives. This role will be instrumental in providing an early indication of portfolio project performance and driving predictability in project results. This role will report directly to the General Manager of Project Controls.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or any related fields AND 15+ years of solid related experience.
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects (cost, planning, estimating, or commercial).
    • Experience in estimating, cost management, planning and scheduling, and risk management.
    • Experience managing large scale projects.
    • Significant field/construction experience.

    Other Requirements

    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND solid experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Significant people management experience.
  • Noteworthy experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects (cost, planning, estimating, or commercial).
  • A great understanding of the datacenter design build.
  • Analytical capability to identify opportunities to optimize the cost and schedule.
  • Collaborative leadership approach.
  • Effective communication with leadership
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and exhibits agility
  • Team builder with ability to coach and mentor others
  • Growth mindset to promote scalability and efficiency.
  • Execution experience with proven track record: Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of the project controls team scope
