We are seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems and networks. This role involves ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the projects.

System Design and Implementation:

  • Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.
  • Implement system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.

Partner Collaboration and Project Delivery:

  • Collaborate with external partners to integrate their solutions with our systems.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT/Cyber services.
  • Lead and participate in project planning, execution, and delivery to clients, ensuring all requirements and timelines are met.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and clients.
  • Design and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
  • Ensure network security through appropriate configurations and monitoring.
  • Manage network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups.
  • Perform system restores as needed.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and support their IT requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Research and Development:

  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and server management.
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus software).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
