About the Role

Seeking an HR Executive with 3-4 years of HR experience to manage training, appraisals, insurance, payroll, work passes, recruitment, and policy development. Ideal candidates are knowledgeable in HR practices and compliance, with a strong focus on enhancing employee experience. Join our team to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Training

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Coordinate both internal and external training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Track training progress, attendance, and completion rates, maintaining accurate training records.

2. Staff Appraisals

  • Organize and schedule mid-year and annual performance appraisals, ensuring timely communication with all departments.
  • Support managers and employees through the appraisal process and review appraisal documents to ensure alignment with company standards.

3. Insurance Coordination

  • Manage employee insurance policies, coordinate with providers, and handle policy renewals.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding insurance benefits and conduct annual policy reviews.

4. Payroll & CPF Management

  • Oversee payroll processing and CPF contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Address employee queries related to payroll matters.

5. Work Pass Application Management

  • Prepare and submit work pass applications (in shipyard environment will be an advantage) in line with government regulations, manage renewals, and track compliance status.

6. Executive-Level Recruitment

  • Develop job descriptions, source candidates, screen applications, and conduct initial interviews for executive-level roles.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a seamless recruitment experience for candidates.

7. HR Policy Development and Support

  • Assist in documenting and updating HR policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new HR technologies and systems to streamline processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR operations, ideally with knowledge in areas such as training coordination, payroll, and recruitment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external providers.
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
