We are seeking to recruit a Research Officer or Research Assistant to work in the field of cell and gene drug development. This is an excellent mid-level job for candidates interested in pursuing industry experience/or developing skillsets in cellular and molecular analysis.
The candidate’s responsibility including the following:
1. Draft the experiment plan under supervision.
2. Execute the experiment plan, analyze the result and prepare the experiment report.
3. Record all experiments and results completely and systematically.
4. Perform experiments including but not limited to molecular cloning, viral vector packaging and titer determination, cell culture (such as immune cell isolation and culture, tumor cell culture, etc), flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assay, ELISA, qPCR, immunofluorescence.
5. Cell line creation with cell modification, selection and cell banking.
6. Ensure that standard operating procedures and safety regulations are followed.
7. Assist in supervising, training and guiding new colleagues when required.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology or in any related field with at least two years of bench work experience.
2. Extensive experience in immune cell culture, such as T cell, NK cell or monocytes, is preferred.
3. Strong background and working knowledge of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques, such as cell culture, molecular cloning, real-time PCR, ELISA, cytotoxicity assay, and flow cytometry.
4. Team player and willing to learn.
5. Prior experience in genetic modification, small RNA, viral vector packaging and nanoparticle analysis is a plus.
6. Prior experience in performing analysis of animal samples is preferred.
