Job Summary
The Senior Executive - Business Development and Solutioning is responsible for business development, marketing and sales of both broad-based and niche logistics services including performing market research, prospecting, developing relationships with potential healthcare customers.
He/She is responsible for analysing customer needs and supporting development of technology, innovation and integrated logistics solutions for customers.
He/She is responsible for gathering requirements from internal and external stakeholders, planning and implementing logistics projects, in the process liaise and manage contractors and vendors, ensuring the project life-cycle is followed through and performed in accordance to project requirements.
Analytical and systematic, he/she is required to explore alternative solutions and analyse feasibility of plans. He/She is also expected to co-ordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement new processes and technologies to offer innovative solutions to customers.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
1. Support Business Development sales and marketing activities including responding to Tenders and RFP’s
2. Analyse customer logistics service needs by building communicative and open relationships
3. Identify appropriate solutions to address customer queries based on sales or customer management knowledge
4. Develop co-created solutions with customers to enhance offering and competitiveness
5. Conduct R&D for innovative logistics solutions catering to customer’s needs
6. Design & develop innovative solutions, coming up with prototypes and proof of concept, testing of completed systems, and preparing relevant documentations
7. Presenting product designs to management and stakeholders
8. Collaborating on supply chain procedures, including inventory management, warehousing, automation, systems integration, and distribution
9. Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of requirements and activities
10. Providing technical support to customers after the delivery of service
11. Optimise use of allocated resources within business activities
12. Keeping abreast of new technological advancements in the industry

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional qualifications) with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Healthcare Supply Chain Management and Business Development, with experience in responding to tenders and solutioning, or a related field such as Healthcare Administration.
