Preparation
Stock service areas with supplies such as wet towel, tableware, and crockery
Perform food preparation duties such as preparing appetizers, and/or cold dishes, portioning desserts
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as crockery and menu
Refill condiments
Table Service
Usher customers to their tables
Inform customers of daily specials and promotional items
Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
Take orders from customers for food or beverages
Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks or dessert for customers
Serve food or beverages to customers, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
Ensure customers' satisfaction
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
Clean tables or counters after customers have finished dining
Cashiering
Collect payments from customers
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Communicate service needs to chefs and service crews
Ensure customers' satisfaction
Perform service according to company service standards
Handle customer enquiries and complaints
Perform server’s duties as needed
