Job Description SummaryThe Marketing (Creator Outreach) Intern will be responsible of supporting the Influencer Marketing team with administrative, database, and project management support. Main role is to support the outreach and seeding efforts for Razer
We are looking for gamer who is organized, proactive and communicates well, with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Support the outreach and seeding efforts for Razer to get products into the hands of suitable creators.
- Familiar with popular creators a plus (e.g. follows and watches game livestreaming, esports tournaments)
- Track progress and completion of all Global Esports and Influencer team outreach deliverables.
- Handle administrative tasks such as vendor creation, purchase requests, and processing invoices for Esports and Influencer efforts internally.
- Perform ad-hoc department administrative duties as required
Learning Objectives
- Understanding the basic fundamentals of Creator Outreach:
- How to assess brand friendliness and alignment and identify different risk factors to scouting for suitable talents
- How to interact with, manage deliverables and negotiate for activations through product seeding efforts
- Reviewing the activation impact through performance tracking of content produced by KOLs and gain an understanding of social media metrics such as impressions, reach and viewership.
- General social media campaign planning – timeline management of the execution of KOL, creator efforts, as well as the creating of briefs that will guide the completion of the KOL activation.
- Developing backend support for Creator management programs, such as a public facing website, working with marketing teams to promote the program, etc.
Pre-Requisites :
Additional Job Description
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Digital Media, Business, Data Analytics, PR or a related field. Esports or gaming-related coursework is a plus but not required.
- Passionate about esports and gaming, with an understanding of various esports titles like Valorant and CS2, esports teams, the global esports landscape, and influencer marketing within the gaming community.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, etc. Familiarity with database management and other data analysis tools is beneficial.
- A team player who'll provide the Global Esports and Influencer team with administrative and project management support related to team sponsorships and player activations, contracts, and marketing coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Should be able to articulate complex data and insights in an easily understandable manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process large sets of data and derive meaningful insights.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively both independently and as part of a global team. Comfortable with both taking direction and showing initiative.
- Available to commit to a 6-month internship for optimal learning and contribution. Candidates should indicate their availability in their resume or cover letter.
