The primary responsibility of the employee is to seek new business opportunities in the global marine/offshore market. The incumbent will be expected to leverage on lubrication technical expertise to offer lubrication solutions. This will involve managing the entire sales process including prospecting, tracking, customer coordination, account administration, recording keeping and some basic-level international and local trading.
Primary Job Duties
Prospect and develop new customers while managing existing customer accounts.
Meet sales growth and volume objectives set by the management team.
Preparation of sales quotation, following up with customers’ enquiries and process of sales orders which involves delivery scheduling and coordination.
Prepare sales contracts and relevant supporting documents.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand customers’ opportunity potentials and ensure customer retention.
Manage customers’ debt and credit control with the finance team.
Writing of sales reports to aid internal market intelligence and reporting purposes.
Support the company in achieving other functional goals and targets.
