Core Objective:
The Head of Sponsorships will be instrumental in securing sponsorships to fund Edversity’s initiatives and events. This role will focus on cultivating partnerships with tech-centric companies, especially in blockchain and crypto sectors, to support our programs and sponsor educational opportunities for students in developing regions. Sponsors benefit from top-tier visibility and the chance to drive meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and secure sponsorships for Edversity’s events, including hackathons, tech, and blockchain conferences.
- Target and engage tech, blockchain, and crypto companies interested in impactful educational sponsorships.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages that align with the specific goals of potential sponsors.
- Establish and nurture sponsor relationships, ensuring they realize maximum value from the partnership.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and events teams to ensure seamless integration and high-profile visibility for sponsors.
- Track sponsorship acquisition progress, evaluating performance and recommending improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership building, or business development (preferably in tech or blockchain sectors).
- Strong understanding of the tech and blockchain industries and the social impact potential of educational sponsorships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable with a commission-based role initially.
- Passionate about Edversity's mission, with a drive to further tech education in developing regions.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with teams based in Singapore, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.
Compensation:
- This is a commission-based role for the initial 1-2 quarters. Successful candidates who drive significant sponsorship acquisition will be considered for a permanent salaried position with Edversity.
