Principal Structural Engineer - MNC

Job scope:

• Lead design and analysis of structural systems, ensuring compliance with codes
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Review and approve designs by junior engineers
• Collaborate with architects and contractors for cohesive project development
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Stay updated on industry trends and materials
• Prepare and present technical reports for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in civil and structural works
• Mandatory experience in infrastructure projects site experience in MRT or underground roadway projects preferred
• Design management experience with consultants in structural engineering
• Recommended experience working as a consultant
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of local authority requirements
• Positive attitude, good discipline, and strong teamwork skills
