Job Description
The management assistant is responsible to proactively support the General Manager of dship Singapore.
In the capacity of management assistant, the employee will be responsible for:
. To assist the General Manager to grow the business in the South-East Asian market
. Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
. Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed
. Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring easy access to important documents and records
. Manage administrative tasks in and for the dship office Singapore
. Assist with rate enquiries and filter most important ones in review of vessels positions
. Assist with research of available cargoes and to help managing the inflow of enquiries
. Assist with data entry in IMOS voyage calculation system
. Assist with tender pricing management
. Assist in maintaining an internal CRM database
. Assist with any other areas relating to the day-to-day business assigned by the management
. Assure correctness in all areas
. Ensuring that corporate guidelines are being adhered to
. Following group code of conduct
Market & Industry Knowledge
. Basic knowledge in international shipping/transport
. Experience in office or management assistance
. Understanding of company strategy and products
. Understanding of company rules and guidelines
