Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, selection and application of work passes where necessary
- Conducting background checks on potential new hires
- Drafting new employee contracts with accurate information
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration for new employees
- Streamlining onboarding and induction programs for new employees
- Communicating with relevant department especially IT department for creation of new hires account
Offboarding:
- Computation of leavers final leave balance and liaising with payroll side for final salary
- Conducting exit interviews
- Communicating with relevant departments especially IT departments for deactivation of resigned staffs account
- Processing leavers exit clearance including cancellation of work passes where necessary
Employee relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, addressing issues with confidentiality and professionalism
- Promote a positive work environment including being part of the organizing team for employees activities and events.
- Take charge of the annual renewal of employee medical insurances
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a performance appraisal system
- Support the Head of HR, managers and employees in addressing performance issues
HR Administration and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
- As part of the HQ HR Team, assist in overseeing the overseas offices (mainly Taiwan and offshore countries) and ensure compliance with the labour laws and policies there
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle HR administrative tasks, including checking of payroll reports and benefits administration.
HR Systems:
- Performing main admin role for HR systems (mainly BambooHR and Infotech)
- Ensure all information on the systems are up-to-date
- Liaising with vendors when necessary for troubleshooting and rectification of issues
- Addressing employees queries and issues with the HR systems
Other ad-hoc tasks as required including covering of receptionist duties when they are on leave.
Take up the role as a fire warden (participating and taking charge in fire drills).
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Human Resource or relevant fields
- At least 3 years of experiences as a Human Resource personnel with relevant experiences
- Understanding of employment laws and HR practices
- Candidates with HR systems experiences (BambooHR, Infotech) will be an added advantage
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Able to switch between working independently and as a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible and able to handle changes effectively
