As Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in identifying business opportunities and have direct ownership of the business’ impact and outcomes. As a leader, you will also be in a position to have a lasting impact on people: through shaping the guest experience and nurturing your team.

You'll be in charge of:

General Management

  • Drive the overall operational and business performance
  • Work with the General Manager to develop goals (commercial and non-commercial) for the venue with clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Lead the teams to achieve the OKRs set out for the venue
  • Set and communicate clear operating standards
  • Ensure that the teams execute based on these operating standards
  • Ensures team alignment with the venue’s and group’s mission and values
  • Ensure quality, operating, and hygiene standards are met
  • Monitor venue adherence to all licensing laws regarding the service of food and beverage, public and employee safety while in compliance with local food safety standards

Talent & Financial Management

  • Conceptualizing staff development plans according to the needs of the business
  • Implementing training strategies for the venue with the support of the Talent Team
  • Work with the Talent Team regarding employee movements and performance feedback
