The Engineering Division conducts research and provides engineering services to the whole of DSO in the areas of digital and mixed- signal electronics/microelectronics, radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antennas, as well as mechanical and thermal engineering.

Antenna Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Perform antenna research and development in the area of antenna development
- Analyse the antenna specifications and requirements of projects assigned, and propose possible solutions
- Carry out design, fabrication and testing of antenna solutions
- Plan and carry out antenna characterization measurements, which include, but not limited to, benchtop, antenna range measurements
- Participate in laboratory improvement exercises
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Knowledge/ experience in the following areas would be advantageous: 1) Antenna and telecommunication technologies. 2) EM modelling and simulation tools (such as FEKO, HFSS, CST) 3) Use of RF measurement equipment (such as spectrum analysers, VNAs etc.). 4) Python programming language.
- Able to work and conduct measurements in a laboratory and / or outdoor environment
- Ability to work independently, and also be a strong team player to interface with other engineers across multiple project teams to fulfill project requirements
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
