Job Title: Sales & Marketing Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our cutting-edge products and solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned market segments.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective clients.

2.) Marketing and Promotion:

  • Create and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Leverage online marketing platforms (such as social media, email campaigns, and webinars) to reach potential clients.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, industry events to qualify and generate business leads.
  • Develop compelling product presentations and collateral.
  • Leads generation role.

3.) Technical Expertise:

  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments and their impact on product specifications.
  • Knowledge of mechatronics or bioprocess equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.

4.) Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular client visits and maintain open communication channels.

5.) Communication and Cold Calling:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making cold calls to potential clients.
  • Engage in consultative selling to understand client needs deeply.

6.) Personal Attributes:

  • Mature and confident demeanour.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for meeting people.
  • Strong analytical skills for market analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to take up extra responsibilities assigned from time to time.
  • Enjoy learning and take out new challenges.

7.) Qualifications:

  • Mature and confident demeanour.
  • Technical certificate/diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Pharmaceutical engineering or a related field, or “A” Level.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Malay, and another ASEAN language.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or marketing preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with online marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Possess Class 2 or 3 Licence and own a vehicle.
