We are looking for a self-directed Product Intern to join our fun loving and passionate Product Team to turn ideas into results at GetGo. Our ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, data-driven, and passionate about building products that radically improve the customer experience.
As a Product Intern at GetGo, you will support the Product Team and work across Marketing,
Business Operations, Design, and Engineering teams to uncover and develop new ways to deliver greater value to our customers and delight them at the same time.
We are looking for a candidate that can start sometime in 2024, and commit to a full-time (5 days a week) duration for at least 6 months.
Day to Day Activities
- Assisting in conducting customer research and user studies to capture the Voice of the Customer and clearly articulate their needs and pain points
- Applying working backwards product development approaches in evaluating feature viability, importance, and urgency
- Analysing data and looking deeply into how the product works, in order to find insights in order to continually improve and innovate our product to achieve desired customer or business outcomes
- Monitoring the performance of our product along various key metrics and setting up automated monitors to drive business responses
- Working with technical and non-technical stakeholder groups to translate business and user requirements into a viable technology product
- Assisting in the launch process (including testing and deployment to Beta/Prod) to ensure that features meet user acceptance criteria prior to launch
- Assisting to manage post-launch support plans, running retrospectives, and/or holding post-mortems
- Creating product materials and creating training content for customers and key stakeholders
- Seeking out new and improved data/mechanisms that make the customer experience visible to ensure the product stays aligned with business goals
