Field Engineer (Valves/ Fittings – Oil & Gas / Chemical Refining)

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer with strong experience in instrument and process equipment within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors. The role involves equipment installation, maintenance, and fluid handling solutions tailored to customer needs, along with onsite troubleshooting and technical advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment installations, maintenance, and inspections, including visual and functional checks at client sites.
• Supervise contractors to ensure proper installation and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot leaks and faulty installations (product training provided) and address technical issues on-site.
• Collaborate with on-site workers, supervise tasks/ contractors, and ensure quality standards.
• Work closely with the Sales team to promote on-site services and provide technical support.
• Plan and attend technical and commercial meetings for onsite service proposals.
• Lead and drive the field services business in Singapore, the Philippines, and Brunei.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance performances and create development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Min 3 years onsite field experience in the Oil & Gas or Chemical Refining sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Instrument or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical discipline)
• Strong problem-solving skills in fluid handling and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently
• Keen on performing fieldwork across different sites and plants.
• Knowledge of industry safety requirements and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365; knowledge of QuickBooks/ SAP B1 is a plus.
