WORKING CONDITIONS:
As an IT Applications Intern, you will work closely with the IT-Applications team, contributing to various tasks that support the integration and automation of the school's systems. This internship offers hands-on experience with system management tools, automation, and integration processes. You will also interact with tiered applications such as Eduka, Clever, and Workday ERP, assisting in optimizing their interaction with our internal systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Application System Integration:
- Assist in the provisioning and deprovisioning of applications like Eduka, Pronote, HR systems, accounting software, and others.
- Develop and maintain integration scripts to ensure efficient communication between systems.
- Automate workflows to enhance system integration and reduce manual processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure seamless connectivity across applications.
- Gain experience in software integration, automation, and system administration in an educational context.
- Support and Incident Management:
- Provide Level 2 support, handling user requests and incidents by performing in-depth diagnosis and resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 support or external vendors, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and verify resolutions with users to close incidents effectively.
- Analyze recurring issues to identify trends and propose preventive measures.
- Monitor and report on incident and request SLAs using Power BI.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist project managers with assigned tasks, contributing to successful project execution.
- Participate in project meetings and offer technical insights on integration and support operations.
- You have or are acquiring a Master’s Degree in IT.
- You are familiar with working in an international environment. English is a prerequisite.
- You have 1 year to 2 years experience in the IT domain.
- You show organizational skills that reflect your ability to perform all daily tasks with excellent attention to details.
- In addition, you are autonomous, flexible and proactive.
- Basic knowledge of application integration, system automation, or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., GLPI) and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical issue resolution.
- Good communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
SUPERVISOR:
IT-Apps Manager
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Permanent contract, based on a full time of 40 hours per week.
- Remuneration according to the IFS salary scheme.
- Duration of 6 months (flexible)
- From 01/2025 to 06/2025 (negotiable)
- The intern is responsible to apply for the visa WHP from the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore: https://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/work-holiday-programme
- The visa will be valid for 6 months maximum.
