We are seeking a passionate Business Development Manager to join our team in Singapore. If you have experience in handling high-volume hiring and a proven track record in providing IT consulting services catering to the banking industry, we want to hear from you!

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Client Account Management:

  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the banking sector, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities within existing banking clients to upsell and cross-sell professional services, including IT solutions, consultancy, and resource augmentation.
  • Client Engagement: Regularly engage with client stakeholders to understand their needs, business challenges, and objectives, offering tailored IT services and solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Contract & SLA Management: Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) and contracts are fulfilled, and address any issues or escalations to guarantee smooth service delivery.

2. Business Development:

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute a business development strategy to acquire new banking clients for IT professional services, with a focus on resource augmentation, managed services, and consulting.
  • Sales and Revenue Targets: Achieve sales targets and revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing business opportunities with both new and existing clients in the banking sector.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, fintech companies, and other stakeholders in the banking ecosystem to enhance the service offerings and value proposition.
  • RFP & Proposal Management: Lead the preparation of proposals, responses to RFPs, and presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the company’s service capabilities, especially in IT banking.

3. Professional Services Delivery Management:

  • Service Delivery Oversight: Oversee the successful delivery of professional services projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with project managers, IT consultants, and technical teams to ensure that the delivery of services aligns with the client's expectations and business goals.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks in service delivery, proactively addressing and mitigating them to ensure smooth operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor service performance and client satisfaction through KPIs and other metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve service delivery outcomes.
  • Resource Management: Ensure optimal utilization of IT resources, including consultants and technical staff, and coordinate staffing needs for project delivery.

4. Banking & IT Domain Expertise:

  • Banking IT Solutions Knowledge: Leverage a deep understanding of IT solutions used in banking (e.g., core banking systems, fintech, digital transformation, regulatory compliance) to provide valuable insights and advice to clients.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the banking and IT industries to ensure the company remains competitive and able to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.

Requirement & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in client account management, business development, or professional services delivery, with a focus on IT solutions in the banking sector in Singapore.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value client relationships in banking and financial services.
  • Skills:
  • Strong client management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with banking clients.
  • Expertise in IT professional services, including managed services, resource augmentation, consulting, and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, fintech products, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation in banking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure client environments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Client Satisfaction Score: Measured by feedback surveys and repeat business.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieving predefined sales targets and revenue goals for both new and existing clients.
  • Project Delivery Success: Meeting project deadlines, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Retention & Expansion: Success in expanding relationships with existing clients and reducing churn rates.
