Your Role

  • Learn different procurement categories (indirect material services procurement and logistics procurement), involving all business departments (adhesives, consumer goods business department), fully familiar with and master the work process and related skills (supplier market depth research, supplier management, negotiation, contract management, project management, supply management, etc.)
  • Responsible for procuring the internal analysis system, supporting the regional/global procurement team in the work and needs of data analysis and transformation through digital projects, continuously optimize processes through integration and feedback; drive and execute digital projects within individual job responsibilities, as an internal data/system consultant for procurement, provide work support for related processes/tools, and establish corresponding knowledge reserves, share the best case study
  • Participate in and drive key strategic procurement projects in APAC Assist the purchasing managers to optimize the purchasing strategy of related categories in Asia Pacific Work closely with global/APAC procurement teams and with business, supply chain, production and other relevant departments
  • Equip individuals with senior procurement directors as mentors, provide full counseling and work experience sharing, and tailor the career development path of future managers. It is expected that Henkel will have further development opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region and the world in the future

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree or above, supply chain management, procurement, business, data analysis, chemical or FMCG industry and other related majors are preferred
  • Procurement Internship experience in multinational companies, preferably in Logistics Procurement is preferred, or 0-2 years of relevant data analysis/supply chain work experience is also acceptable
  • Experience in leadership of student associations is preferred, experience in overseas study/extracurricular activities is preferred
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for the job (due to need to liaise with chinese suppliers), with knowledge of any other Asian language being a plus.
