How do we work?

The Regular System Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our diverse IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of our systems, while actively participating in our cloud migration efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills and gain valuable experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Apply security patches and updates to safeguard the IT environment.
• Assist in planning and executing the migration of on-premises systems to GCP.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based resources and services.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and processes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through automation.
• Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of systems and procedures.
• Work in a hybrid model
• Take part in on-calls and occasional weekend support on a need basis
  
  

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role?

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in a system administration role.
• Cloud Computing experience (GCP preferable, Azure, AWS)
• Strong understanding of operating systems, virtualization, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash,PowerShell, Python, Go, Rust
• Experience with Google (Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace) and Microsoft (Windows Server) technologies.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and third-party integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a global organization and servicing high-value/global customers in different geographical locations.
• ITIL/ITSM certification or experience.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Demonstrated passion for automation and continuous improvement.
