UCT is looking for a talented Robotics Systems- Intern to join us in Singapore!

Support the Central Automation team in developing the new vision and Pick & Place software modules, for backend Automation machines and Automated Optical Inspection machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions for software and control related activities.
• Actively participate in the Automation machine build and testing of new products.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to technical problems related to software.
• Work productively with all cross-functional teams – manufacturing, planner, Quality Assurance.
• Gather and analyze data with ability to format and present to internal teams.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with other automation team members to define requirements, develop and test solutions, and commission systems.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience and interest in working with C#, .NET, Python, RPi, Arduino platform.
• Computer skills, MS Office, Visio, Smartsheet.
• Must be fluent in English both conversational and technical and must have the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
  
  

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor in Robotics or Electrical Mechanical engineering
