We are looking for an analytical and passionate Finance Assistant Manager/Manager to join our team. The individual will be responsible for supporting management in key decision-making related to all finance matters.

THE ROLE – Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all finance operations within the Singapore office
  • Manage full set of accounts including preparation of monthly closing, financial and management reporting
  • Drive budget preparation and forecasting process through working with different business units and functions
  • Monitor cashflow positions and ensure adequate cashflow by securing timely payments and cash collection
  • Provide management with insightful financial analysis to monitor business KPIs and financial results to enable key strategic decision-making
  • Drive continuous process improvements through streamlining workflows or implementing finance systems to automate processes where feasible
  • Ensure accuracy of all financial data, as well as compliance with accounting standards & policies and internal control procedures
  • Work closely with auditors to manage the annual audit exercise
  • Liaise with bank and related financial and non-financial institutions on credit facilities where necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, or Business
  • Qualified CA or CPA is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS)
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a finance-related field; Experience in a consumer goods company is a plus
  • Able to be hands-on and yet see things from a strategic standpoint at the same time
  • Keen to take on a leadership role and possesses strong communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and quantitative analytical skills with sound decision making qualities
  • Meticulous, good-time management with high level of initiative and integrity
